Brady Singer To Make MLB Debut On Saturday
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer will make his major league debut against the Cleveland Indians on Saturday. The 23-year-old Singer is one of the team's top pitching prospects. Over 26 starts in High-A and Double-A in 2019, Singer went 12-5 with a 2.85 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 8.4 K/9. It's hard to say how long Singer will stick in the rotation. The team is very thin at starting pitcher right now with Brad Keller and Jakob Junis both on the Injured List due to COVID-19 rehab. Regardless, Singer is worth a speculative add in just about all leagues. The Royals have a very pitching-friendly home stadium and if Singer sticks in the big leagues for a while, he could be a solid asset for the back of your rotation.
