Brady Singer Posts Quality Start Against Mariners
3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer had a solid outing in Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He pitched six innings and allowed three hits, three walks and two runs (one earned) while striking out five. He wound up with a no decision in the game. Singer posted a 3.80 ERA over his four starts in August. He settled in a bit this month after giving up five runs to the New York Yankees in his first start of the month. Two of his last three starts now have gone for quality starts. He's been too inconsistent to trust for fantasy purposes on the year, but we'll see if he can find some consistency going into the final stretch of the year. He'll take a 4.87 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP into his next start against the Chicago White Sox next Sunday.
