Brady Singer Hopeful To Start On Tuesday
1 year agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer (arm) remains on the paternity leave list, but could be activated this week. The organization is hopeful that Singer will be available for their upcoming series against the Chicago White Sox. The team has already confirmed Cole Ragans and Jordan Lyles as their starters for Monday and Wednesday. The assumption is that Singer will pitch Tuesday, but he hasn't started since August 25 due to arm fatigue. He was shut down from throwing and then went on the paternity leave list on Friday. The right-hander is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. It's assumed he'll start on Tuesday, but fantasy managers will have to check back for another update on his status. The 27-year-old has not pitched well this season and can be avoided in most fantasy formats.
