6 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer (shoulder) is having surgery on his right shoulder on Friday, according to manager Terry Francona. The club should have a better idea on his timetable after the surgery is complete, but there's a good chance Zimmer won't play again this year. He hit just .226/.281/.330 with two home runs, nine RBI and four steals in 106 at-bats before being sent to the minors, where he suffered the injury. You can safely drop Zimmer in all redraft leagues if you hadn't already.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
