Bradley Zimmer Off To Torrid Start
4 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer has a new swing approach, and it's working very well for him this summer. Zimmer has been using an altered stance, and he's making a strong case to make the Opening Day roster. “I’m not gonna lie, I’m feeling really good,” Zimmer said via Zoom. “This is honestly what I expected. Probably coming into this, a lot of people honestly haven’t really looked at me as an option. I’ve probably been overlooked. But in my mind, the quarantine and all that gave me more time to get ready to come out here and prove that I’m here for a reason. ... Just the fact that I’m healthy and I can go out there and play free like I always have and not be looking over my shoulder and worrying about something nagging and I can just play.” Zimmer likely won't have much fantasy value this season unless he lands regular playing time.
