Bradley Beal Scores Game-High 33 Points In Sunday's Win
4 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal recorded a second consecutive 33-point effort on Sunday, leading all scorers in a 119-110 win over Cleveland. Russell Westbrook had a rare quiet outing with 14 points, 11 assists and five rebounds. Beal went 2-for-4 from behind the arc and shot 13-for-24 overall from the field with a 5-for-8 record at the foul line. He picked up six rebounds as well with three assists and one steal. Beal was always going to crush it against a poor Cleveland defense. The 27-year-old sniper has another favorable matchup on Monday against a Spurs team that owns the third-worst defense against opposing shooting guards in 2020-21. Beal had 31 points against them in this season's first meeting.
