Bradley Beal Records First Career Triple-Double
6 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal did everything in Saturday's 149-146 win over Phoenix, finishing with his first career triple-double that featured 40 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds. He shot 17-for-33 from the floor, including 4-for-12 from downtown. John Wall (illness) was a late scratch, so Beal needed to take over, and he didn't disappoint. Of course, playing a game with three overtimes will boost everybody's numbers, but Beal already had a double-double with assists in regulation, and overall, we can still say it was a very impressive performance. He'll look to keep up the form on Sunday against Indiana, but it won't be a good matchup. Beal will be guarded by elite defender Victor Oladipo, and fatigue could be an issue after he played 54 minutes on Saturday.
