Braden Montgomery Promoted To High-A
Braden Montgomery is being promoted to High-A Winston-Salem. The White Sox selected Montgomery with the 12th pick in last year's draft, and he is already progressing through the White Sox system fairly quickly. The Texas A&M product opened the 2025 season with Low-A Kannapolis and needed just 18 games to prove he was ready for the next level. Across this brief stint, Montgomery held a .304/.393/.493 slash line with four doubles and three home runs. The young outfielder tallied 19 RBI, swiped six bags, and held a 19:10 K:BB. The 22-year-old is currently considered the No. 5-ranked prospect in the system and the No. 52 overall in the sport, according to MLB Pipeline. Fantasy managers should expect Montgomery to contend for a Double-A promotion later this season if he continues this impressive pace with High-A.
