Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby will enter Thursday's series opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins as the likely starter after sitting the first two games of the Stanley Cup playoffs as the backup to Philipp Grubauer. Grubauer struggled mightily and allowed four goals in both games, paving the way for Holtby to come on in relief at the end of Game 2. From there, the Caps won four in a row to take the series in six games, largely due to Holtby's performance. He enters Round 2 with a .932 save percentage and 1.92 goals-against average this postseason.--Barry Miles
