Braden Holtby Leads Caps To First Series Win
7 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby stopped 33 shots in a 3-2 double-overtime victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. After essentially losing the starting gig to Philipp Grubauer, one would have to think Holtby has won it back after Tuesday night's performance. Holtby owns the best career postseason save percentage among active goalies at .932 and will look to return to form after a horrible regular season that saw him let in 2.99 goals-against average. A confident Holtby could get the Caps another road victory and tie the series 2-2.
