Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand recorded a goal and two assists in the Bruins 6-4 comeback win against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. Marchand opened the scoring late in the first period, stuffing a slick feed from Bruins forward David Pastrnak to beat Hurricanes goaltender Cam Ward. Boston then allowed four goals to Carolina before scoring five straight marks themselves. The win itself was impressive as well as Marchand's offensive leadership with Patrice Bergeron (foot) being held out of the lineup. Boston plays again on Thursday night against the Florida Panthers, a team that Marchand scored two goals and three assists against in five games played last season.--Alex McKenzie
