Brad Keselowski Among Top DFS Plays At Richmond
8 months agoAfter a disappointing trip to Circuit of the Americas (COTA) last weekend, Brad Keselowski's struggles continued Saturday afternoon as he qualified 23rd for the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway. Despite these recent challenges, there is a lot to like about the 2012 Cup Series champion heading into Sunday night's race. In 28 Cup starts at this track, Keselowski has two wins and 14 top 10s, which is the fifth most among active drivers. While track data for veteran drivers like Keselowski can sometimes be skewed or even dated, in this case, it is not. In the four races in the Next Gen car at this venue, the 40-year-old is averaging 49.16 DraftKings points, which is eighth most among active drivers. What is of further interest is that the RFK Racing driver-owner is one of just four drivers to have two top-five finishes in the aerodynamic package that will be used in this race, which is a testament to how prepared this team has been. With success at this track and in this package, at a starting position that offers place differential upside, and at a salary of just $8,200 on DraftKings, the No. 6 looks like a strong play in DFS this weekend.
