Brad Keller Plagued By Walks In Loss To Cardinals
3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller struggled in the team's 5-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. Keller pitched five innings and allowed seven hits, five walks and five earned runs while striking out five. The five walks matched a season-high for Keller. He earned the loss on Saturday to drop his record to 7-11 on the year. Keller had a productive month of July, pitching to a 2.28 ERA over four starts. August hasn't been as kind to him so far. He allowed three earned runs over three innings in his previous start before this one. He'll look to get back on track in his next trip to the mound on Friday, facing the Cardinals yet again.
