Brad Keller Allows Three Runs Over 5 1/3 Innings
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller delivered a decent outing against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Keller pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed eight hits, one walk and three earned runs while striking out four. He certainly allowed too many baserunners, but he limited the damage with just three runs. Keller has a 4.35 ERA over four starts in May, a big improvement over his disastrous 9.00 ERA over five starts in April. Still, most of his advanced stats on the year look scary. His xERA (7.41) and xBA (.321) both rank in the bottom 2% of the league. He should be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues for now. His next start will be on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
