Brad Hand Blows Save, Earns Cheap Win Sunday
3 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Brad Hand couldn't find the strike zone Sunday against the San Diego Padres, allowing one run on a hit and three walks en route to a blown save. He did record all three outs via strikeout, and was fortunate to earn the win when the Nats pushed another run across in the bottom of the ninth inning. Hand has had a strong year with a 2.61 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 39 strikeouts in 38 innings with 19 saves. Fantasy managers can keep using Hand with confidence.
