Brad Brach Notches 10th Save Of Season
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles relief pitcher Brad Brach earned his 10th save of the season in Wednesday's 1-0 game against the Mets. Brach started the ninth inning by giving up a leadoff single but then got three straight outs to record the save. He had no walks or strikeouts. While the Orioles bullpen situation could come into question once Darren O'Day and Zach Britton return to the team, Brach has made a relatively strong case to remain the team's closer. He is now 10 of 11 in save opportunities with a 3.13 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP. Fantasy owners should be able to rely on Brach for saves at least until Britton comes back and potentially even after.
