6 years agoKansas City Royals reliever Brad Boxberger picked up his first save of the season in the team's 5-3 win over the White Sox on Thursday. They entered the final frame up 5-0 and used four pitchers to get the last three outs in a shaky bullpen effort. The Royals have stated they won't use a traditional closer and use a few arms in certain matchups, so it's one of the messier situations in baseball. Boxberger figures to be one of the better options to lockdown games this season for KC but doesn't offer much fantasy appeal regardless.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
