Boone Jenner To Miss Most Of Season
1 month agoColumbus Blue Jackets center Boone Jenner (shoulder) underwent surgery on Wednesday and will be out for 5-6 months. He injured his shoulder in practice last week. The team is hopeful of getting Jenner back before the end of the season, with general manager Don Waddell mentioning Columbus' outdoor game against Detroit on March 1 as a potential target date for Jenner. With Jenner sidelined, Sean Monahan is expected to take on first-line center duties in Thursday's season opener against the Minnesota Wild.
