Bogdan Kiselevich Set For NHL Debut On Saturday
6 years agoFlorida Panthers defenseman Bogdan Kiselevich will make his NHL debut on Saturday, replacing Jacob McDonald in the lineup. Kiselevich missed the start of the season after taking a puck to the face during the preseason. McDonald made a dream debut in the league, scoring with his first career shot against Tampa last weekend, but the Russian was always going to replace him as soon as he was healthy enough. Kiselevich signed a one-year deal with the Panthers in June following a 16-point campaign in the KHL. He recorded 23 goals and 123 points in 393 KHL games, so he's not an offensive force, but he'll be a solid addition for a defense that allowed 2.96 goals per game in 2017-18.
