Bobby Witt Jr. Could Make Debut In 2021
4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. has been turning heads on a regular basis this spring. Over his 10 appearances, he's gone 8-for-24 with two home runs, six RBI and seven runs. He's slashing .333/.360/.583 and showing no sign of backing down against big league pitching. Despite his hot bat, Royals beat writer Anne Rogers believes that Witt is most likely to begin the year at Double-A or Triple-A. If he performs at a high level at either post, or if the Royals are in need of infield depth, he could very well get the call to make his MLB debut.
