Bobby Witt Jr. Homers For First Time In 2023
2 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-5 on Thursday with his first home run of the season. Witt has struggled in the early going, hitting just .154, so hopefully, this performance breaks him out of his slump. Witt's home run came off reliever Trevor Richards. He was leading off again in this one but has also hit second and third this season. The young phenom has five strikeouts compared to four hits and he's stolen just one bag this season, so it's been a slow start all around. Fantasy managers shouldn't worry, however, as he should be among the game's top this year.
