Bobby Portis Could Not Buy a Bucket in Loss
7 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Bobby Portis was abysmal from the field, managing only seven points on a forgettable 1-for-9 shooting from the field and 0-for-3 from distance in the loss against the surging Milwaukee Bucks. He did not provide any defensive stats to salvage his lackluster performance on the offensive end and saw only 13 minutes of action. His main appeal in fantasy is his scoring per minute and when he can't put it in the basket, Portis becomes a liability. Nonetheless, if Nikola Mirotic gets traded in the near future, the streaky big man should see 20-25 minutes of action on a nightly basis, making him a good stash candidate if you are in need of cheap scoring and rebounding.
