Boban Marjanovic Scores Just Four Points In The Loss
Boban Marjanovic connected on just two field goals for four points as his club lost by 11 to the Trail Blazers on Thursday. Marjanovic managed to add four rebounds with an assist and two blocks in just 12 minutes of action. Montrezl Harrell played the bulk of the minutes in the middle in this one, but owners need to expect games like this out of the big man as he does have many limitations. He will hope to get things back on track on Saturday when his club plays the Bucks.

Boban Marjanovic Waiting For NBA Offers
Boban Marjanovic has told Meridian Sport in Serbia that he "expects" to land a new NBA deal. The seven-foot-four giant has spent the last two seasons with the Houston Rockets. "I expect the NBA, but if that doesn't happen, there's a lot on paper right now," Marjanovic said. The 36-year-old made 14 appearances last season, scoring 3.2 points and grabbing 2.3 rebounds in 5.1 minutes. He has averaged 5.5 points and 3.6 boards in 8.7 minutes for his NBA career. Boban Marjanovic On The Move
Boban Marjanovic from Dallas in exchange for Christian Wood. Houston is also receiving the No. 26 overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft along with Sterling Brown, Trey Burke, and Marquese Chriss. Marjanovic has averaged only 5.9 points and 3.8 boards throughout his career, so despite the change of scenery, he will likely continue to spend most of the time on the bench. However, if Alperen Sengun were to succumb to injury in 2022-23, Marjanovic could receive some interest from fantasy managers as a streaming option in deeper formats.

Boban Marjanovic Expected To Remain In Dallas
Boban Marjanovic is expected to remain on the roster. The big man has one year remaining on his current deal and is due to make $3.5 million this season. Despite averaging only 4.3 points and 1.7 rebounds throughout 23 appearances during the 2021-22 campaign, the 33-year-old is a proven locker room leader, so the team would like to keep him at all costs. Still, it's unlikely he will see interest from fantasy managers heading into October. Yet, if he can carve out a more consistent role in the lineup, he'll be worth a look in deeper formats. Marjanovic may also get a start here or there during the year, so he may also receive some waiver consideration from those dealing with injuries.

Boban Marjanovic, Brandon Knight Land In COVID Protocols
Boban Marjanovic and point/shooting guard Brandon Knight have become the latest members of their team to join the league's health and safety protocols, ruling them out indefinitely. While Marjanovic has been a tremendous per minute producer, he has seen just 5.9 minutes per contest this season, keeping him on the outside looking in of fantasy relevance in all season-long formats. Knight has enjoyed a brief three-game resurgence with Dallas, who remains massively shorthanded in the backcourt. The veteran dialed up an 18-point performance Monday, but his future with the team is now murky as he does have a guaranteed deal moving forward.
