Bo Naylor Goes Deep Twice On Thursday
1 month agoCleveland Guardians catcher Bo Naylor went 2-for-4 with two home runs during Thursday's spring training contest. Naylor tallied four RBI, which were all of Cleveland's runs during this contest. Last season, Naylor logged a career-high 123 contests and held a .201/.264/.350 slash line with 10 doubles and 13 home runs. He generated a .196 xBA and a .260 xwOBA which placed him in the first percentile in both statistics. He began to find his footing in August as he held a higher .226/.262/.468 slash line with four long balls. Naylor is expected to serve as the team's primary backstop with Austin Hedges operating as the No. 2 option. If Naylor continues to flash upside during camp, he could be worth a look in deeper two-catcher formats.
