Bo Davidson Snags Player Of The Week Honors With Hot Bat
3 months agoAfter an impressive week of torching the baseball, San Francisco Giants outfielder Bo Davidson won Player of the Week honors in the California League of Single-A. Davidson, the Giants No. 28 prospect per MLB Pipeline was on fire this past week as he hit .526 with a pair of homers, 12 RBI and a 1.836 OPS for Single-A San Jose. Davidson isn't a highly touted prospect, but he has already made an impression during his second season in professional baseball. In only 50 games for San Jose this season, Davidson has hit an impressive .335 with five triples, 9 homers and 38 RBI. Davidson went undrafted in 2023, but the Giants may have found themselves a potential big-league outfielder. For now, he has the upside of a potential 20-20 players, but he will need to continue to mash throughout the minor leagues to keep the ascending throughout the Giants system. He is only a name for watchlists in dynasty leagues.
