4 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette watched the offseason news, which saw the club finish as a runner-up in the Francisco Lindor sweepstakes. And while he understood the interest in the veteran shortstop, he sees himself as a full-time shortstop and spent the winter working out and rededicating himself to that end. Both the players and manager Charlie Montoyo have noticed the improvements. Bichette said the unusual 2020 season also wore him down mentally. He's motivated to do better not only defensively but offensively as well despite finishing last year above .300 with a 122 wRC+.
