Bo Bichette Doubles Twice In Blue Jays Win Saturday
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette had his first multi-hit performance of the spring on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, a steal, one RBI and a run scored in a 3-1 victory over the Phillies. Bichette had been struggling at the plate early this spring, slashing .125/.333/.125 with five strikeouts in his first eight games, but now he has a hit in three straight games and has raised his triple-slash line to .231/.375/.308. While the hits haven't been there, Bichette has been showing good plate discipline with six walks to seven strikeouts. Bichette is the No. 6 shortstop going off the draft boards currently with an ADP of 24, and despite the early struggles, managers should continue to target him at that range.
