St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich (upper body) couldn't complete Saturday's 2-1 shootout victory over Seattle, but it looks like he managed to avoid serious injury. Blues head coach Craig Berube is optimistic about the injury and noted that Buchnevich "feels not bad." Buchnevich logged only seven shifts and 5:27 of ice time in Saturday's game, getting hurt when Seattle defenseman Jamie Oleksiak delivered him a big hit in the first period. The Russian forward has finished the first two games of the season without a single point, but he's been a point-per-game player in each of the past two seasons and should remain among St. Louis' top forwards in 2023-24.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
