Blake Treinen Records Fourth Save
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen worked a perfect 1-2-3 inning to earn his fourth save of the season versus the New York Mets on Thursday. Treinen struck out all three batters that he faced. Closer Kenley Jansen was unavailable on Wednesday with him pitching on Monday and Tuesday, but seemed to get an extra day on Thursday. Jansen has been having a rough second half and Treinen seems to be the next in line if a change is permanent. Treinen has now converted four of his eight save chances this season and has an impressive 1.84 ERA. The veteran is worth rostering in leagues that count holds and is worth a speculative add for those that roster Jansen or are looking to chase potential saves.
