Blake Treinen Locks Down Victory For 32nd Save
6 years agoOakland Athletics closer Blake Treinen pitched a scoreless ninth inning to secure a 3-2 victory over the Mariners Tuesday. He struck out one and allowed two hits in the outing. Treinen dropped his ERA down to 0.89 and has been one of the most reliable closers this year. Tuesday's save was the third day in a row he earned a save. He will likely rest on Wednesday if an opportunity presents itself. Instead, the Athletics will likely go to Lou Trivino.
