Blake Treinen Likely Out Until At Least Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen (arm) is dealing with a right arm injury. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated that Treinen's arm was "barking" after he made an appearance in the team's home opener this past Thursday. Treinen hasn't appeared in a game since. According to Dodgers beat writer Bill Plunkett, Treinen is unlikely to be used in the team's current three-game series against the Atlanta Braves, meaning he is expected to be out until at least Friday. Treinen is the team's top setup man in front of closer Craig Kimbrel. He's pitched three innings so far this year and he's allowed one hit, no walks and one earned run while striking out five.
