6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell continued his breakout season Friday versus the Orioles. He went 5 1/3 innings allowing two runs while striking out nine. Snell left with a pitch count of 104 and a five-run lead. The two runs allowed broke a streak of 14 straight home starts by Snell with one or no earned runs allowed. The two runs allowed actually raised his 2018 home ERA from 1.06 to 1.23 in 11 starts. Snell is 18-5 with a 2.06 ERA this season. A lot of numbers but the conclusion drawn would lean towards him being one of the best fantasy pitchers this season.--Jamie Mellor
