8 months agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Blake Snell threw three innings in a simulated game on Sunday, marking a significant step in his preparation. Snell signed with the Giants on March 19, a date late enough that he won't be able to start the season with the team. The Giants aren't sure what the next steps are, but if Snell only needs one more sim game he could debut late in the first week, although that seems unlikely.
