Blake Snell Scratched With Adductor Tightness On Sunday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Blake Snell (groin) was a last-minute scratch from his start against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday due to left adductor tightness. The team went on to send out Nabil Crismatt to start the game. Snell dealt with left adductor tightness late last season as well, so it's certainly concerning to see the issue come up again. There's no word yet as to how severe the injury is for Snell. He should be considered day-to-day at this point, but we expect to have more clarity on the situation soon. Make sure to stay tuned.
