9 months agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Blake Snell threw four innings against Giants' Double-A players on Friday, striking out 11 batters. The newly acquired lefty threw 74 pitches in the start. The Giants are unsure of Snell's next steps, but there is potential that he could throw the final game of the Giants' upcoming series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. Giants' manager Bob Melvin has not committed to that, though, and stated he would need to discuss the next steps with the lefty. Snell will be a productive pitcher for many fantasy managers as ATC is projecting him for 206 K and 11 wins in 162 innings in 2024. Fantasy managers might have to wait another week before Snell is available for them to start in their lineups.--Kevin Larson - RotoBaller
