Blake Snell Looking To Start Fresh Monday
2 years agoSan Diego Padres left-hander Blake Snell will take the hill for Monday's matchup with the Cincinnati Reds. He'll be hoping to start showing some positive results, as he's pitched to an 0-4 record, 5.48 ERA, and a 1.87 WHIP so far through five starts (23 innings). Snell's strikeout rate is down to 23.9%, and his walk rate has skyrocketed to 16.5% after posting 32.0% and 9.5% marks, respectively, in 2022. The Reds is the right club for the 30-year-old to gain some confidence, as they own a .695 OPS as a team. Anyways, it might be wise for fantasy managers to sit Snell until he figures things out.
