6 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Blake Parker is reportedly receiving trade interest from multiple teams. Parker is 2-1 with a 3.11 ERA this season to go along with 10 saves and an excellent 10.1 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio. Relief pitchers have been flying off the shelves in July so it makes sense that Parker is being inquired about. The Angels already made a deal on Thursday, sending catcher Martin Maldonado to the Houston Astros, and it would appear they might not be done making moves. Parker has had his shaky moments this season, but if he gets the chance to close for a contender his fantasy value will increase. If relegated to the bullpen as a setup man, then it will vastly decrease outside of multiple-reliever leagues.--Mauricio Castillo
