3 years agoNew York Giants linebacker Blake Martinez (knee) suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons and is out for the season. This is a significant blow to a middling Giants defense that will now be without its top linebacker. The 27-year-old underwent an MRI on Monday, which confirmed a torn ACL. Martinez racked up at least 144 tackles over the last four seasons. Reggie Ragland is expected to replace Martinez as the team's right inside linebacker.
