4 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin was in a groove on Thursday against the Lakers, scoring a game-high 23 points on 5-for-10 three-point shooting. He finished 8-for-16 overall from the field and made both of his attempts at the line. Griffin added six assists and three rebounds with zero turnovers in 35 minutes. The veteran forward had failed to hit the 10-point mark three times in his past four appearances and it looks like he was saving his shots for the champions. The former Clipper is averaging only 13 points for the season, but he gets some boards and dimes each night to keep him fantasy relevant. He has a nice matchup against Golden State next, with the Warriors giving up a league-high 13.6 rebounds per 48 minutes to power forwards and their defense isn't good either against the position.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
