Blake Griffin Has 29 Points In Losing Effort
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin scored 29 points on Tuesday against the Bucks, but he was unable to save the team from a blowout loss. It's the most he's scored since dropping 34 points on Minnesota two weeks ago. Griffin shot 9-for-20 from the field, including a very good 4-for-9 from downtown. He also had a flawless record on the line with seven attempts. Griffin polished up his line with nine rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal, although it would've looked better if he could've avoided six turnovers. It was good to see Blake getting going again after a bit of a slump, but he's in a tough spot to repeat the performance on Wednesday when the Pistons take on Memphis, who have been by far the best team defensively against power forwards this season.
