Blake Griffin Continues To Struggle With His Shooting
5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin posted another poor shooting night on Sunday against San Antonio, going just 4-for-12 from the field, missing all three attempts from deep. Luckily for the team, it didn't cost them the game as the Pistons' bench took care of business and Griffin had a chance rest up a bit in a blowout win. He ended up with 10 points, six assists and two rebounds in 22 minutes. It's been a real struggle for Griffin this year after he missed the start of the season through injury. He's only had a couple of good outings in eight appearances and his shooting numbers look horrible -- 41.9 percent from the field, 23.9 percent from three-point range. It likely won't get any better in the next matchup either, as the Cavs have been surprisingly good against power forwards this season, allowing only 20 points per 48 minutes.
