Blake Griffin Catches Fire From Deep
4 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin bounced back in a big way from beyond the arc in a 128-119 loss to the Cavaliers. After going 0 of 5 in the first game, Griffin made 8 of 16 attempts en route to 26 points with six boards, four assists, and three steals in 44 minutes. As always, Griffin's health will be a nightly risk that fantasy managers who selected him will have to live with. However, if he can stay healthy and shoot the three-ball even remotely close to how he did in this game- he could approach a season like his 2018-19 campaign when he was an All-Star in his first season as a Piston. Of course, Griffin has only played 75+ games four times in his 12-year career, so this is a big if.
