Bisi Johnson Earns The Start In Week 1
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Bisi Johnson is listed as the No. 2 receiver on the Vikings depth chart heading into Week 1. Johnson has won the job over first-round pick Justin Jefferson after consistently making splash plays during training camp. It appears the Vikings coaching staff wants to reward that hard work, but Johnson will have a tough test in Week 1. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has really struggled against the Packers in the past, leaving Johnson with little fantasy appeal for Week 1 in season-long leagues.

Bisi Johnson Finishes With 29 Receiving Yards
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Bisi Johnson caught three passes for 29 yards in Saturday's 17-7 preseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Johnson was able to command the most targets in this one with six while finishing tied with Nick Muse for the team lead in receiving yards. The 25-year-old has an uphill climb to significant playing time in the Minnesota offense, as Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, and K.J. Osborn headline the wide receiver group. The Vikings figure to run a lot of three-WR sets, so Johnson's best-case scenario for fantasy relevance would be locking up the No. 4 wide receiver role and having someone ahead of him miss time. Still, he would need to beat out Ihmir Smith-Marsette for the WR4 spot on the depth chart. As of now, he is not on the fantasy radar.
