Billy Quarantillo Takes Loss After Big Knee From Opponent
2 years agoIn what started as a close back-and-forth contest for Billy Quarantillo on Saturday ended badly after he took a knee to the chin on a level exchange, ending his night via first-round knockout against Edson Barboza. In 2:37 of action, Quarantillo tallied 19 significant strikes compared to that of Barboza's 21. The big knockout came with Quarantillo attempting a takedown, and Barboza timed his knee strike just right to put Quarantillo out. The loss now has Quarantillo at 2-3 in his last five Octagon appearances.
