5 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Billy Hamilton will play a bench role and serve as a late-inning defensive replacement and pinch-runner after he was claimed off waivers from the Royals this week. He was hitting a putrid .211 with no home runs, 12 RBI and 18 stolen bases in his time with Kansas City this year and should continue to go ignored in mixed leagues in his new home. Atlanta really only claimed him because Nick Markakis, Ender Inciarte and Austin Riley are all currently on the injured list. Inciarte may miss the rest of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
