Bills Restructure Ed Oliver's Contract, Save $10 Million In Cap Space
2 mins agoThe Buffalo Bills restructured the contract of defensive lineman Ed Oliver, creating $10 million in salary cap space by adding void years to the end of his deal. The former No. 9 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft signed a four-year, $68 million contract in 2023 following his rookie contract, and the Bills executed a simple restructure to provide immediate cap flexibility. In 92 career games, Oliver has compiled 231 tackles (144 solo), 27 sacks, seven forced fumbles, one interception, 14 pass deflections, and 45.5 run stuffs. While he has not lived up to his top-10 draft status, he's been a strong presence along Buffalo's defensive front since entering the NFL.
