Bills Release Kelvin Benjamin, Andre Holmes
6 years agoThe Buffalo Bills released wide receivers Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes on Tuesday, according to sources. Benjamin just hasn't worked out for Buffalo and lacked effort for most of the season, catching only 23 passes on 62 targets for 354 yards and one touchdown this year. The former first-round pick of the Panthers has been a bust in the NFL. Holmes had just 12 catches for 157 yards and wasn't a fantasy factor. With both Benjamin and Holmes now out of the picture, Zay Jones, who caught two touchdowns in Week 13, is now the unquestioned No. 1 wideout for this team. Rookies Robert Foster and Ray-Ray McCloud and Deonte Thompson will fight for scraps behind him.
