Bills Don't Plan To Rest Starters
5 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Doug McDermott said that the team doesn't plan to rest starters in Week 17 against the Jets. "I wish I could take them all out. We just don't have the numbers to do that," McDermott said. The head coach also hinted that backup quarterback Matt Barkley could see some time, so take this for what it's worth. Buffalo can't improve their playoff positioning at all by beating the Jets in the regular season finale, so it seems likely that quarterback Josh Allen and the other starters won't play this full contest in Week 17. That makes all of Allen, running back Devin Singletary, receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley and tight end Dawson Knox shaky fantasy options.
