5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Bennie Fowler (hamstring) "tweaked" his hamstring in practice on Wednesday, but the Giants are "hopeful" that he will play in Week 3 against the Buccaneers, according to head coach Pat Shurmur. The goods news is that Sterling Shepard (concussion) has a chance to return this Sunday, but Cody Latimer (concussion) may be doubtful. If both Fowler and Latimer are out, it would mainly be T.J. Jones alongside Shepard in the passing game for rookie quarterback Daniel Jones' debut.
