Bennedict Mathurin Iffy For Wednesday
5 days agoIndiana Pacers guard/forward Bennedict Mathurin (calf) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. He is dealing with soreness in his left calf and has missed two games already. During Mathurin's absence, Aaron Nesmith and Ben Sheppard hold additional fantasy value, with Nesmith being the better fantasy target. On Monday against the Sacramento Kings, Nesmith received a significant boost in playing time and rewarded head coach Rick Carlisle's trust with a team-high 24 points. He also made contributions on the defensive end, blocking two shots and snagging one steal.

Bennedict Mathurin Available Monday
2 weeks agoAccording to Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star, Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said that guard Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) is available for Monday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Mathurin is playing after carrying a questionable tag earlier due to a sprained left ankle. The 22-year-old has received a few starts recently but has shifted back to a bench role with Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith back in the lineup. He's registered at least 20 points in three of his last four outings, and he could make an impact for fantasy managers during tonight's matchup.

Bennedict Mathurin Returning On Saturday
4 weeks agoIndiana Pacers guard/forward Bennedict Mathurin (wrist) is set to return to the court for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Mathurin is back in action after missing each of the last four games due to a wrist injury. Head coach Rick Carlisle said he wasn't sure if Mathurin would be limited during his first game back. The Pacers could certainly use the help with Tyrese Haliburton (hip) heading to the sideline for the second straight game. Fantasy managers in season-long formats can get Mathurin active, but he's a risky DFS choice.

Bennedict Mathurin Might Miss Saturday's Game
4 weeks agoIndiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin (wrist) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Mathurin has missed the last four games due to a left wrist sprain. His possible absence could be bad news for the Pacers with Tyrese Haliburton (hip) also listed as questionable for this game. The continued absence of Mathurin should mean increased run for Aaron Nesmith (hip) and Obi Toppin in the rotation.
